Summary for first year in web, what's next?

Today is the day, when one year ago I started creating my personal website for participating in GSoC 2008. I didn't participate, but I want to summarize some results, which I didn't expect to say the truth :)

Statistics:
  • ~200.000 visits
  • ~30.000 downloads
  • ~10.000 registered users
  • $100 AdSense revenue :)

JED Extensions and partners:
  • 2 wonderful partners Martin Hajek (Czech Republic) and David Thomas (New Zealand)
  • 8 extensions
  • 2 extensions in top rated 100 (Jumi, GTranslate)
  • 1 extension in most favoured 20 and most rated 50 (Jumi)
  • GTranslate is on the first place in his category (automatic translations)
  • Jumi is on the first position in his category (custom content)

What I expect this year:
  • Participate in GSoC 2009, will propose ideas only for Joomla! Project
  • Bachelors degree in physics, preparing for masters degree in computer science
  • Will keep working on Jumi, new fetures, snippets, tips and tricks, hope it will be selected as a JED Editor's pick
  • Will join with JosLang, already have spoken with David Thomas and he is agree
  • Have you heard about Google App Engine based on Python? This year I'll try my Python skills and move my website to App Engine base, already have working core for my site, need to convert the php code :)
  • End of crisis in the world

Misterious things in JED

Approximately 2 months ago Martin wrote this blog post: How to become a successful developer in less than 5 minutes. Just read it and you will understand what is going on in our beautiful planet Earth. I ask you to leave your comments on JED and here. Just tell me your opinion.
